Predmety Anglický jazyk 1, 2 a 3 majú podľa študijného poriadku 100% hodnotenia počas semestra, t.j. študenti dostávajú výsledné hodnotenie za prácu, ktorú vykonajú na cvičeniach počas semestrovej výučby.

Hodnotenie za predmety Anglický jazyk 1, 2 a 3 sa udeľuje podľa počtu bodov získaných za testy, dochádzku a priebežné mini testy.

Každý študent napíše povinne 2 testy, jeden priebežný (45 bodov) a jeden záverečný test (45 bodov). 

Za dochádzku a priebežné mini testy môže študent získať spolu maximálne 10 bodov, čo predstavuje 10% výslednej známky. Bližšie informácie k možnosti získania bodov za dochádzku a mini testy budú poskytnuté na hodine. Študenti dostanú potrebné informácie aj mailom.

V prípade neúspešnosti pri písaní povinných testov, má študent možnosť každý test opraviť 1x. Pri oprave testu sa do úvahy berie počet bodov z posledného testu (t.j. nie z lepšieho testu).

Body za dochádzku a mini testy nie je možné nahradiť.

Výsledné hodnotenie závisí od súčtu bodov za dva povinné testy, dochádzku, mini testy a prípadné bonusové body.

A = 100 -  93%

B = 92% - 85%

C = 84% - 77% 

D = 76% - 70%

E = 69% - 65%

FX = 64% - 0%

The courses English Language 1,2, and 3 are assessed entirely during the semester. This means that students receive their final grade based on the work they do in class throughtout the semester.

Each student is required to take two mandatory tests - one mindterm test (45 points) and one final test (45 points).

For attendance and 5 mini-tests, a student can earn a maximum of 10 points, which represents 10% of the final grade. More datailed information how to earn points for attendance and mini-tests will be provided during the first week of the semester. Students will aslo receive this information by email.

If a student does not earn enough points to receive a grade or they need to improve the final grade, each mandatory test can be retaken once, i.e. two retakes are permitted. However, the score of the most recent test is taken into account even if it means to receive less points.

Lost attendance and/or mini-test points cannot be compensated for.

The final grade depends on the total number of points obtained from two mandatory tests, attendance, 5 mini-tests and bonus points.

Grading scale:

A = 100 -  93%

B = 92% - 85%

C = 84% - 77% 

D = 76% - 70%

E = 69% - 65%

FX = 64% - 0%

Základné informácie

Skúšku z predmetu Anglický jazyk 4 je študent povinný vykonať do konca 3. ročníka (6. semestra).

Hodnotenie predmetu je 0/100 (100 % hodnotenia v skúškovom období).

Všeobecné podmienky ukončenia predmetu Anglický jazyk 4

Skúška sa skladá z dvoch častí: písomnej a ústnej. Absolvovanie oboch častí je nevyhnutné pre udelenie hodnotenia. Ako prvý v poradí je potrebné absolvovať písomný test a získať aspoň 35 bodov, aby sa študent mohol prihlásiť na ústnu časť skúšky. Z ústnej časti je potrebné získať aspoň 10 bodov.

1) Písomná časť skúšky (test) 

Písomná časť skúšky (test) predstavuje 70 % celkového hodnotenia (70 bodov). Študenti majú 60 minút na napísanie testu, ktorý je jednotný pre všetkých študentov daného odboru.
Po dohode s vyučujúcou, je možné (nie nevyhnutné) test absolvovať už v poslednom týždni semestra (13.týždeň). Ostatné termíny testov budú zverejnené pred začiatkom skúškového obdobia a budú prebiehať počas skúškového obdobia.

2) Ústna časť skúšky 

Ústna časť skúšky predstavuje 30 % celkového hodnotenia (30 bodov). Podmienky ústnej skúšky a požiadavky na formálny aspekt ústnej skúšky sú študentom vysvetlené na prvej hodine. Tieto informácie budú študentom poslané aj mailom. 

Na test ako aj na ústnu časť skúšky sa študenti prihlasujú cez AIS na termíny vypísané ich vyučujúcou. Počet termínov na test aj ústnu odpoveď zverejnený pred začiatkom skúškového obdobia je konečný, t.j. nové termíny nebudú pridávané počas skúškového obdobia.

Basic information

English language 4 is a compulsory course that must be completed no later than by the end of 3rd year (i.e. 6th semester). The course is graded on scale of 0/100, which means 100 % of the evaluation takes place during the exam period. 

General Requirements for Completing the Course English Language 4

The exam consists of two parts: a written part and an oral part. Completing both parts is necessary to receive a final grade. The written test must be taken first, and the students must earn at least 35 points in order to register for the oral exam through AIS. The minimum number of points required for the oral exam is 10.

1) Written Part of the Exam (Test)

The written part of the exam (the test) accounts for 70 % of the total grade (70 points). It lasts 60 minutes and is uniform for all studets of the given major (e.g. Mathematics, Informatics).

With teacher's approval, the written exam may be taken as early as the last week of the semester (Week 13). Additional test dates (the timetable) will be published before the exam period and will take place during that period.

2) Oral Part of the Exam

The oral part of the exam accounts for 30 % of the total grade (30 points). The conditions of the oral exam and the formal requirements that must be met are explained to students during the first class. This information will also be emailed to students.

Students register for both the written and oral part of the examination through AIS. They choose the dates scheduled by their teacher. The number of of available dates for both the written and oral exams listed on the timetable is final; no additional dates will be added during the examination period.
