Sizes of extremal girth five graphs of orders from 40 to 49

Abstract:
In this talk we continue in discussions about J. Backelin's results on extremal girth five graphs. We prove that graphs of order 45 and size 145 with girth at least five have minimum degree 6 and maximum degree 7. Moreover, each of the vertices have exactly two neighbours with the same degree as themselves.
