Two New Research Teams of Excellence at FMPHI
Bratislava, December 13, 2017: The research teams of excellence of Comenius University in Bratislava received awards from the rector of the University prof. Mgr. Karola Mičieta, PhD., the silver medal of the University. Among the recipients are two teams from FMPHI.
"Two years ago, the Accreditation Commitee identified 37 research teams of excellence at Slovak universities, 19 of them at Comenius University in Bratislava. This year out of 17 teams of excellent, 7 are at our university," says the rector of the University. Two of these teams work at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.
In the field of physics, prof. Stanislav Tokar leads the research team of excellence High Energy Physics Team Bratislava. Bioinformatics and Functional Analysis of Biological Systems is the team of excellence combining fields of chemistry, natural science, and computer science under the leadership of doc. Katarina Mikušová. Two new teams joined seven teams of excellence operating at the faculty since 2015.
