[Translate to English:] The Department of Experimental Physics invites applications for a postdoctoral position within the research project:

“Low‑temperature plasma for seed stress adaptation and reduction of chemical load in agri‑food systems.”

The project focuses on applications of atmospheric‑pressure low‑temperature plasma for:

  • degradation of pesticides and other contaminants,
  • plasma‑assisted seed treatment and priming,
  • induction of adaptive stress responses in plants,
  • development of environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical treatments in agriculture.

The postdoctoral researcher will perform experimental research using various plasma sources, plasma diagnostics, surface and biological analyses, and will contribute to scientific publications and conferences.

Requirements

  • PhD in physics, plasma physics, physical chemistry, biophysics or related fields.
  • Experience in experimental research; plasma or spectroscopy experience is an advantage.
  • Interest in interdisciplinary research.
  • Good command of English.

The position is offered for 1 year, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum total duration of 3 years.
