Graphs with large fixicity

Abstract:
The following question will be considered: ``What one say about a connected finite vertex-transitive graph admitting a non-trivial automorphism that fixes a lot of vertices?'' I will play with different interpretations of the words used in this question and present a result regarding the 3-valent case.
