Giselle A. Monteiro:
Extremal solutions for impulsive systems via Kurzweil equations
Abstract:
In the late fifties, J. Kurzweil introduced a notion of integral equation which has proved to be useful in the study of continuous and discrete systems, including impulsive differential equations. In this talk we discuss the existence of greatest and least solutions for the so-called measure differential equations -- namely, a Stieltjes type integral equation in the sense of Kurzweil. Based on these results, we derive new theorems about extremal solutions for impulsive systems.
