Second moment fuzzy-ﬁeld-theory-like matrix models
In the ﬁrst part of my talk I will introduce and motivate a class of matrix models which describe scalar ﬁeld theories on fuzzy spaces in certain approximation. I will also discuss the importance of fuzzy spaces in theoretical physics and brieﬂy go over their properties. In the second part I will outline the analytic solution to the above models and show how well they describe (or do not describe) the relevant features of fuzzy ﬁeld theories. This part will be a little technical but might be instructive, especially for students.
