František Dráček:
Machine learning enabled manoeuvre detection from synthetic observations
Abstract:
Increased satellite activity in Earth's orbit underscores the need for reliable and scalable manoeuvre detection techniques. Our work outlines an approach to satellite manoeuvre detection using machine learning models trained on synthetic observations. Focusing on geostationary orbit (GEO), we simulate satellite trajectories under various station-keeping strategies and observation constraints. We will cover the data generation process, modelling techniques, and current limitations, with an outlook on future extensions to low Earth orbit (LEO) and more realistic observation scenarios.
